Aim
The aim of CAM’s Housing Project is to provide low income earners with the opportunity of owning their own home. Host pastors for CAM Pastor Paul and Patricia Andrew with their loving and caring hearts find it in their best interest to assist persons through whatever measures in owning their own house. That is, to be able to secure a place for the foreseeable future, either for them, their children, or some loved one and discontinue with the continual payment of house rent with no hopes of ever owning a property.
Description
The houses that will be built during the ongoing of the project will be one bedroom, two bedrooms, and three bedrooms houses with bathroom, dining room, kitchen, and living room all inclusive. This is only for the beginning. As time evolves more consideration and planning will be put in place to construct larger homes. Nevertheless, for persons with large families who are seeking a larger home, plans are already put in place to accommodate your needs. House plans will be designed to show to persons interested in owning their homes. These house plans will be subject to change based on person’s desire and or taste. Therefore, persons will be given the opportunity to make suggestions as well as express their likes and dislikes to better satisfy their needs.
Houses being built first will be of wooden structure, however, steal structure and concrete structure will be open for discussion. At the moment we are experimenting with other housing materials such as concrete wood to construct houses. No decision has been made about it. Houses will have a quality finish to it. That is, tiles for bathrooms and kitchen areas, kitchen counters design tops, kitchen cupboards, paints to stain flooring or carpet will all be selected and styled in houses to add a finishing touch to homes.
CAM will assist persons with no land in finding lands to rent or purchase which ever means is affordable for persons to rest houses or build houses. Persons will be given the opportunity to negotiate whether they prefer to pay in cash for house and gain ownership or make monthly rental deposits for a specific number of years before being able to own homes.
In ensuring that this project is coordinated smoothly, contractual agreement will be put in place to safeguard both parties from incurring any loss on their behalf. Once everything is agreed upon it is up to the individual party to adhere to the agreements and not breach the contract for there will be consequences.
